As kids get older, it gets harder to throw a cute party that they will love. Jenny from Bloom Designs made it happen for her 11 year old, Hillary with this Pink Poodle Skirt Party. The details are too cute but still sophisticated enough for a tween. I love everything from the simple color palette to the meticulous details that are scattered throughout the party.
Details from Jenny:
The dessert table was filled with lots of sweet treats and toppings for ice cream sundaes. The ice cream was pre-scooped into individual containers labeled with poodle stickers and brought out when the girls were ready to eat. This made serving so simple. Other desserts included poodle paw brownie stacks, poodle fluff, cupcakes, strawberry shakes, and sugar cookies. Lots of paper tissue tassels filled the backdrop.
The girls had lots of fun in our photo booth, which I made by covering a piece of drywall with wrapping paper. I cut out lots of fun glasses and bows and had a few dress up pieces for the girls to use. The girls loved taking their photo with the wooden poodle made by Ten 23 Designs. It matched the poodle on our paper products perfectly. The guests also did their nails and hair at the Poodle Parlor and then Painted-A-Poodle. I love having a painting activity at my parties. Kids of any age can do it.
