Summer has come to a close and a new school year is upon us. My littles aren’t so little anymore. This past week my oldest started her 2nd year of middle school (and much to her delight, is only 3 inches shorter than I am now) and my youngest only has 2 more years of elementary school left. Where does the time go?
Let’s face it, middle school is hard. More responsibility, harder work, new schools, new procedures and we most certainly can’t forget the hormones and peer pressure :). Things are tough and for a tween/teen it’s not always so easy to make the best choices. They need gentle reminders that things aren’t going to always go their way or that everyone isn’t always going to be nice to them but that none of that should make them deviate from being their best self. Heck, even as an adult, sometimes I still need these reminders.
I put together a set of some of my favorite motivational quotes on small note cards to send one each week with my daughter to clip inside her locker door as her reminder for the week. These would be great inside of a lunch box as well or on a mirror in the bathroom or bedroom. Anywhere that you know your kiddo will see it daily.
I made a set of 24 with motivational quotes and a set of 12 with Christian motivational quotes. Find the downloads below!
