This is the absolute most darling thing I’ve seen! Jamie, from Sweet Jelly Parties, conjured up this adorable bedroom for her daughters that will be sure to blow you away. Here’s what Jamie had to say….

The Land of Make Believe

My youngest daughter was just about to transition out of her crib and into her big girl bed like her older sister. They were both growing up so fast I wanted to give them a bedroom makeover that encompassed everything they loved to do at this stage in their life. Playing dress-up, having tea parties and of course being a fairy princess. I sat down with my oldest daughter who is four and we put together a little to do list of anything our minds could come up with. It included things like riding unicorns, flying to the moon and dancing with fairies. One of the things I wanted them to be able to do was sleep under the stars every night so I made a cloudy sky above their beds and hung gold glitter stars everywhere.

I tried to incorporate as many aspects of our to do list into their bedroom as possible. I had my mom make some custom bedding out of this adorable mermaid fabric I found to represent swimming with mermaids.

We made a fairy nook with their own little door on one of the shelves so the fairies had a way to come in and dance. I used paper butterflies throughout the room so they could chase them whenever they wanted.

Their absolute favorite thing to do right now is play dress up so this was my main focus. I gave them their own little vanity with play make up, a dress-up bin made from an old dresser drawer so they could easily access all their favorite pieces and even a place for all those shoes. They love their room so much and I had the greatest time designing it for them.
